microneedling
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure. It involves the use of very fine needles to create microscopic damage to the skin. This process enables your skin’s healing mechanism which results in the production of collagen and elastin as well as increased cell turnover.
why an acupuncturist?
I do microneedling from a traditional Chinese medicine approach—the serums used during a session include Chinese herbs that function to address your chief complaint. Microneedling increases product absorption up to 3000%! Since your skin is more permeable, these serums can get in deep and do their work.
what does it do?
Each session is customized to you and your skin goals. It treats acne scars, fine lines, pores, hyperpigmentation, acne, eye bags, sun damage while boosting collagen and can promote hair growth.
Essentially, microneedling makes your skin look good.
